Lifeguard Instructor

Learn the skills necessary to teach courses and modules in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training program by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials, how to conduct training sessions, and how to evaluate, participant's progress. Participant must have current Lifeguard certification to take this course. Candidates must pass pre-course skills and written test on the first night of class. Participants must be at least 17 years of age.

Lifeguard Training

Learn the skills and knowledge needed to keep patrons safe in aquatic facilities. After successful completion of this course, you will receive American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification. Participants must be at least 15 years of age. Prerequisite for course: Swim 300 yards continuously (Breastroke/Freestyle) and retrieval of a brick from 9 feet of water. 9 sessions

Renew your Lifeguard Training and/or CPR/AED the Professional Rescuer certifications. Participants should come prepared to check off their skills and take the written exams. This course does not include a review.
